What is a Kerb
Kerb, or curb is a series of blocks, usually made of concrete or cobblestone, arranged one after another, defining the boundaries between the sidewalks and the road. There we find the gutter which drains the water to the drainpipe and to the sewer. In this chain – or row, line – of blocks, half of it stays below the road level, leaving only visible the top half. Hence the term “kerb or curb”.
